Hmm, do you have ceramic coat? I can literally hose the bugs off with ceramic coat. That said, we don't have bugs like that in my part of Colorado. Reminds me of when I was stationed in Memphis TN...

Lol, yes. MOS 6313 for VMA- 121. Marine that spent his whole tour at Navy bases, or on ships..

no Marines on our ship Nam 68-71..wasnt big enuff...did see them on Liberty in a few 3rd World ports raising hell...lots of respect for Hospital Corpsmen (Navy) wearing Marine khakiis with Navy insignia that were embedded in the units..good times

Film on the front of the car and I hate it. 996, M5, rst, all coated.... still stick to the rst.... little buggers.

Very cool! As you can imagine from my avatar, I spent all my time in the VP Navy (P3 Orion). Isn't VMA-121 out of Japan? Here's a tidbit; ... My father was Navy and I was born at Camp Zuma in Japan.

When I was in, early to mid 80's, we were out of El Toro Ca. I worked on A6 Intruders. I did do a lot of school in Whidbey Island Wa, there were a bunch of P-3's up there.

Yes, Whidbey was a large P-3 base along with Moffet Field on the west coast back in the day. Only Whidbey now remains. The P-8 Poseidons replaced the Orions at Whidbey as well as in JAX. Loved the Intruder!
