I'm considering purchase of a used 991 Turbo that has "Corporate Fleet" as the Type of Owner on a CarFax report. It was owned for only 6 months and 6K miles before going on to the next Owner.
Just curious if the Corporate Fleet on a CarFax is a turn-off for potential buyers? Does it devaluate the car at all?
Probably means some CEO, CFO etc. bought/leased it as his company car. Just some executive perk. Very often they get "X" amount of money for a car and they get whatever they want. If the lease or purchase monthly amount exceeds what the company allows they pay the difference.
Spoke with the dealer today. It was leased by a professional athlete.
He mentioned the name and I didn't give a reaction since I root against the team. Haha. All good though, thanks.
Well, ... and this is only my personal opinion, but I would think that a "professional athlete" did not baby the car and rode it hard even tho these cars are pretty much bullet proof. Unless it is a CPO car, I'd take it to a good mechanic for a through look see.
Decided to purchase the car. 2019 TT with 15,705 miles. The car is under factory warranty for 1 year and CPO'd for the following two years. Glad to be back in the saddle again!!
