Sellers... Remorse? I do not understand. That's what happens when you sell your Porsche?

I've never done that.

Oh, I sold the wife's 981CS, but that was her car.

I've never sold one of mine. Still have the first one I bought in 1997 along with the ones I bought after 1997.

Lol...I'm WAY worse than my husband when it comes to trading cars. He always says...at least you've kept me around longer than any of your cars!! 🤣🤣🤣

I sold my '15 Turbo last year and I do miss the car. I'm on a Z06 waitlist although I've never been a Corvette guy. After seeing how f'd up their rollout has been as well as the limited number they will produce, waiting until 2025 was too long. I'm not getting any younger!!

I've decided to look at a 2019 Turbo next week.

I bought my 991 TTS without telling my wife. She found out about it the day that it was delivered. The delivery driver arrived with an enclosed trailer, dropped off the 991 TTS and picked up the 997 TT. She wasn’t pleased that I didn’t tell her in advance. We now have an agreement that I’ll inform her in advance for future Porsche purchases.

Car surprises around here are ok as long as it's one out, one in...

It's when her daily gets pushed down even further from getting its garage spot back that I get the 'look'...

I had a tough time with the "one out". Bought a lift instead. She's happy now though just got her a Taycan.

I'm always a sucker for the latest and greatest Vette, but every time I spend time in one I can't help but discover it's flaws by my nature. Instead of buying vettes, I rent them to let it all out. Hopefully the new Z06 is as great as the C6 was and there aren't any major GM shortcuts.

Any hassles so far living with an EV? I've added a 220 volt to my recent garage extension in preparation for an EV but still holding off at the moment due to convenience purposes.

We just go to Spring Mountain Advanced Driving School and beat the crap out of their ‘vettes. Get’s it out of our system. Will be time to go again in 2023 and beat a C8.

Nice Turbo (best color ;-) , Nice Taycan!

I have four garage spots, but none of them are well suited for a lift.

We are also about two months into EV ownership, a Rivian R1T. The truck blows me away with how good it is... I knew it would be quick, but I didn't expect it to handle so well (hydraulic cross-link suspension, four-motor-torque-vectoring, and low CG all help).

Minimal hassles charging, but that is 99% at home, and fortunately already had a 50A 240V circuit in each of the garages and just had to swap out some receptacles. The few Electrify America charging stations I've been to are hit or miss. Usually at least one working charger, with at least one or two non-functional chargers. Seems a bit insane to build out all these half million dollar charging stations and then not keep them all fully operational.

EV and ICE...

Sold my 911 TTS a few months ago and I miss the car every day. I picked up a 22 M3 xdrive and although it is a nice car, the P-car had it all.

My wife’s daily driver is a Jaguar I-Pace EV. We bought it new in 2020, and it’s one of the best cars we’ve ever owned. We do 98% of our charging in our garage, but the times that we have used public chargers it has been very easy and convenient.

It's funny all my sports cars over the years, I never told my wife, just brought them home. 2002 BMW M3, 2011 Audi S4, 2006 911, 2006 911 4S, 2012 Carrera 4GTS, 2015 911 Turbo. All was good, I never shared cost as she would not understand. Then I purchased a 2013 VW Touareg TDI and she went bonkers!!! I said, OMG, you never question any of my car purchases, why this one to make you mad?!? Her response, your sports cars are you but the family car is one I want a say. Mmmmmm. In my mid 60's and still learning.

Haha, same thing she and I shared the TTS, added a Taycan 4s to the arsenal. We both love driving it! Can you tell.. Here's her catching air on a local track PCA DE. Same week, we dropped the daughter off to college in Utah, had free charging all the way. Good choice! @Ttz06vette When I purchased my TTS, the dealerships consensus is more people are holding on to their previous model. Why dealer are so desperate right now to find inventory. I'm falling into that category pretty soon.. Honestly rather live in a small house and own an extra porsche..

LOL..
