works extremely well when washing the car . works on my 991.1 with PPF on..

Just tried the other key fob and it works in my pocket! You are right this key fob will need something... lol. Thanks for the troubleshooting tips!

strange don't have that problem with mine. Works in my pocket without issue.

easiest solution to the car wash phenomena is to leave the key in the interior of the car

Leave the key far away from the car while washing, also note that sometimes smart phones can interfere (not sure how since they are on different frequencies) with the frunk touch to open. Move the key away from the smart phone if they are in the same pocket and it will work.

Again, no need to touch to open. I don't like fingerprints on my paint. Just open your hand and hold flat about 1/2" above the bumper a few inches left of center. I wave my hand left- right and it opens. Works best this way for me.

Ok, at least I am not going crazy. My hood popped on me as I began to power wash the front end of the car....lol.
