Try re-indexing the window.

With your key on, raise the window and hold the switch for about 3 seconds. Release and hold the switch in the up position again for about 3 seconds. I think you will hear a beep when complete.

To reset (car must be on):
1) lower the window all the way down and release the switch
2) push the switch down, hold it there for 3 seconds, and then release
3) raise the window all the way and release the switch
4) pull the switch up, hold it for 3 seconds, and then release
5) turn car off and then back on

Hope it works to realign the window. On my car there is no beep when the exercise is completed.

The window recognizes top and bottom ok but when the door handle is actuated and the window moves down 1/8 inch that’s when the two pieces of glass touch each other

Is the rear quarter panel glass in alignment? A while back, there was a thread about the rear quarter panel glass being loose.

^^ This was going to be my advice. Front/rear window glass shouldn't touch. These cars are probably still a little too new for worn out tracks, sure it probably just needs adjustment.

Covered under warranty although they tried to say adjustments not covered.........arm twisting was required from me

This procedure totally worked!

After a battery change, my 991.2 TTS cab would keep rolling the passenger side window all the way down when the top is being opened or closed. When it supposed to only go down about 2” when the cabrio top is being operated. Worked like a charm.

woohoo! 🥳
