As a tangential comment, don't trade your Carrera S, keep it and add the TTS. If you had a 2009 (or later), it would have been a forever car. I have gotten to the point that I like variety, top down some days, manual some days, comfort some days, and other than a GT3, the 997 is the last of the analog, NA, 'real' MT cars that will likely ever be made.
Only thing I would consider replacing my 997 Cab S with is the 718 Spider. I would love a TTS, but it would be to add to the stable not replace.
Thanks again for all the advice! After increasing my budget and being patient, I finally found the perfect car. 2014 Turbo S, 15k miles, basalt black with red/black interior, sliding sunroof and burnmester sound system. I had to drive from Dallas to Oklahoma City to make the swap, took the long way back and honesty was the best 200 mile drive of my life. Can’t wait to drive it again tomorrow, we are truly lucky to own such amazing cars. Cheers!
