Akrapovic Sport Cats - CEL (Check Engine Light)??
Really hoping for some help here.
Akrapovic makes a 100 Cell Sport Cat (L-PO997TFLS-100) and a 200 Cell Sport Cat (L-PO/SS/2H) for the 991 Turbo (S).
Has anyone had success with either of these Cats - with regard to not tripping a CEL??
I don’t want to ‘tune out’ the Secondary O2 Sensor - and would greatly appreciate some guidance from folks with first-hand experience - good or bad.
Thank you - be well…

Hi Erik, I ran Fabspeed 200 cell sport cats on my 991.2 turbo and they did not trigger any CEL on the stock ECU. I would say the Akrapovic 200 cell is a safe bet. If it does trigger the CEL, you can use O2 sensor extenders instead of tuning the car.
Side note, I am posting my fabspeed cats for sale this weekend if you're interested...

Another option is to do the following:
- Buy an OBDLink LX Bluetooth Reader that plugs into your ECU (inside drivers side door)
- Download the aOBDLink app on your phone. This will allow you to see engine performance (IAT, AFR, etc,)
- Download an app "Torque (Life)" on your phone which is another ODB reader that will allow you to read and clear codes
