It's been about 4,000 miles since my last service, and I am getting a "Service inspection in 1,000 mi" notice.

What does this "inspection" entail? There is nothing about a 5,000 mi service in my maintenance manual. Just the normal 10,000 (standard), 20,000 (intermediate), and 30,000 (major) service intervals - basically the same as my old 991.1 C4S.

Is this something I can reset/disable with my icarsoft POR v2.0?

 

My guess is that your last service was in April 2020? It's just extrapolating that your next service will be in about 1,000 more miles.

 

My last service was actually on 2/2020. My "Service Interval 2" message shows that my next actual service is due in 6,000 miles, as I would expect, based on the maintenance manual.
