Several threads on it - it seems a good fix is to add a sub box in the rears, this is assuming you have the Bose system and not the Burmeister. Some other fellows have added different mids, someone even did some testing on it.
I am half deaf and notice the factory Bose is somewhat 'lacking'.

I found xm, pandora, and other low resolution sources to sound pretty awful with Bose, but streaming Tidal with a cord is acceptable, (with no other mods), especially considering the car is noisy (especially with Pirellis).
