Default Bushing problem on .2 turbo

My shop found out that, the bushings on rear wheel carrier were broken. The rubber was basically tearing apart.
My car has 28,000 km and been to few track days. Still, the bushing problem came in much earlier than i expected.
Dealership told me the bushings are not sold separately. So in order to replace the broken bushings, i would have to replace the whole wheel carrier. Which would take a month to ship and cost almost 1k.
After doing some research, the Rear Wheel Carrier Concentric Monoballs from Elephant Racing seem to be the only direct replacement out there..
Few questions:
1. Is it common to see some bad rubber bushings around 20,000 miles?
2. Should i do the monoballs or go to the dealership?
3. I am planning to install the TechArt lowering springs, is it a good time to replace more bushings? Elephant Racing offers a lot monoball upgrades, could save some labour here.
Really appreciate for any reply <3

Dealership won't do a warranty repair. They claim it's normal wear, which is not covered.

As you have 4 years 80k warranty, that should not come up as 'normal wear'... because that doesn't seem normal...

This dealership previously refused to do a warranty repair for my front axle lift system. They said someone(most likely me) poked a hole and caused leaking hydraulic fluid. HAHA
Thank you for your advice, i will make sure that i talk to the right dealership.

Sorry, that sucks - I would love to know how you poked a hole in your FAL... with respect to your issue, if you go aftermarket, you will have to do both sides, staying OEM reduces your labor.

Cheers,

I have the same problem on my '14 991 TTS. Bushings are absolutely destroyed. But the main cause i assume is the loweing of the car. i have the techart lowering springs which drop the car by 30mm. looks nice, but it affects the bushings.

I have replaced mine with the Elephant racing monoballs, but they are soft.. very soft.. i can move the arm by hand.. i think in the end, i will end up with new original hub carriers .

are there other options ?
