Default The other day...

I was sitting in the car, with the nose pointing uphill, running waiting for someone to get off the train.

A couple of things happened - the first was the oil to full light came on again (this is after having a half liter removed, and no issues since, temp. was about 90 deg C), and I was wondering if this warning (yellow) was related to how the nose was orientated, or if anyone else has seen this themselves.

The second thing was a great deal of 'steam/condensation' ((visible) coming up from the right front. I got out and had a look, but it didn't smell of coolant and nothing is leaking. The air conditioning was on, and it was a rather damp evening at about 7 deg C - is it possible that the heat transfer through the condenser was being cooked by a rad? I haven't taken the fron of the car apart, so I don't really know how it all goes together, but would welcome some ideas.

Cheers,

Ok - there was quite a bit of steam at one point; people were staring...

The cooling system on these cars is a real...situation haha. I am sure you will be fine. You should see what they do after major services or engine removal! Oil makes sense at an angle.

So, perhaps you would be so kind as to elaborate on 'situation'...

You would figure that by now, they'd have figured it out.

The silly little yellow light is still on, cold/hot oil doesn't matter.

How does one go about resetting it?
