991.1 engine grill to 991.2

A year ago, I couldn't find any good aftermarket solutions. Funny that some .1 guys want to change to the .2 style b/c to me, the .2 style makes me think of the grates on the cheapest box fan from H. Depot.
So I went the other way and changed my .2 to a .1 style.
I'd agree the .1 louvers can look too tame in main body color, but gloss black brought it up a notch.

Beezupra, thanks for the post and I agree the black accent color looks great on your car. Nice subtle change with big rewards. If your .2 cover is available and similar to item at top of thread let me know. I think that with a carbon fiber intake scoop would work for me. Is your Turbo S Sapphire blue? We have a Cayenne GTS in that color and love it. Beautiful car.

Thanks BSR - Yup, Sapphire Blue. Almost got my '17 Macan in this color; glad I went with silver for it, and saved the blue for the 911. I'm going to hang on to my original .2 engine cover in case the next owner wants it back to original.

Did you get these from DB carbon?
