Tough problems we have indeed; mind you, I don't think I'd like my tyres to de-laminate at 170mph...
ya I bet the Porsche dealership would be in complete shock that a TTS 911 was going over 170....oh wait

Also my tires are rated to go over 170.

Probably just the seal leaking.

I’ve logged with Cobb doing 1/2 mile pulls in my 2017 and there are very strange readings at this speed. Short shifting helps get past this but it prevents the best speed possible in the half mile.

COBB only logs up to 158 mph.. and it’s common to see erratic speed readings, but when confirmed with a GPS device in the same run, it all is usually fine.

i dont Have access to my logs right now but it clearly logs past 158mph. Not sure if you’re saying the wheel speed stops after 158 but I have clear logs using Cobb and mega log viewer and there are very strange things with requested and measured map that happened before with lower pressure and this comfort tire warning coming on. When standard setting used and tires at corresponding pressures this does not happen. I believe this is end of 5th and short shifting to sixth somewhat helped but not really.

Not sure I understand your comment. I had a chance to look at the logs on MegaLogViewerHD 4.4.04 and I have many over 158mph. Am I misunderstanding your comment? These logs were taken using the log function on my Cobb AP using the latest firmware. Several I have over 177 mph.

I cannot see runs faster than 158 mph in the datalogs, the COBB speed data stops there, it continues loggingall the other data but the speed does not go beyond 158mph. Unless mine has an issue, although I validated this point with other users, but if you have speeds higher than that then I maybe should check the firmware. Anyone else sees higher speeds?
