Default Aesthetic upgrade that only this forum will notice...

I have a white car 991.2 with the aero package in glossy black. Saw this little triangles by the mirror available on suncoastparts and decided to get them. It is an OEM part and match perfectly the aero package. Makes you wonder why Porsche didn’t include them in the aero package. Small detail but worth it In my opinion for anyone with aero package.

Original flat plastic

New glossy black part

Perfect match to glossy black aero

You didn’t want the CF ones for only 2 thousand?

I bought them on sale for $40. In retrospect, the weight savings with the CF ones may have been worth the extra expense..

Looks great. Is it easy to do, or should the dealer install this?

Default Took me 5 mins on each side...

All you need is a torx-20. The parts need a little wiggling to come off but on a scale from 1 to 10, this is a 2. (1 is checking tire air pressure).

If you're interested in a Carbon Fiber finish, you should look in to the Window Air Diffuser from GMG. They look great and help a lot with wind buffeting when windows are down.

They are not OEM, however, the fit and install are just like OEM. They're shaped like that to eliminate the wind buffeting that occurs when driving on the track or on the highway with windows down.
