I have had issues before with dealers refusing to give out part numbers. Basically they don't want you shopping part cost.
My current parts manager is great and I don't have this issue. I don't deal with people anymore that make doing business difficult and aggravating. Must be an age thing.

That is not uncommon at all. Suncoast does the same thing where you can't see what the part number is since they want you to buy it from them and not cross shop.

They don't call them "Stealerships" for nothin...

Although after considerable relationship building, I finally have a dealership that gives me an automatic 10% off on all parts and I avoid shipping if I pick it up.

Even with that discount I usually buy from one of the sponsor/vendors on Rennlist just because of their incredible support for the 928 community!
