Are you ready to take the leash off your 991.2 GT2 RS? We have been working with the GT2 platform for over a decade and have utilized our 25+ years of Porsche performance tuning to dramatically improve the overall driving experience and a great place to start your performance optimization is with our Porsche 991.2 GT2 RS Sport Catalytic Converters. This product replaces the restrictive, OEM ceramic 700 cell catalytic converters with free-flowing HJS german tri-metallic race quality 200 cell HD cores that flow 93-95% of a straight pipe, leaving you with an exhaust note truly worthy of a GT2 RS with no Check Engine Lights!

Just like all of our valves exhaust systems, the 991.2 GT2 RS Sport Catalytic Converters feature bombproof valves from Helical Technology in the UK. With the valves closed, exhaust flows through the stock OEM muffler, or the Fabspeed X-Pipe for a refined, throaty tone. With the valves open, the exhaust bypasses the muffler and heads straight out the back of the vehicle for a much more aggressive exhaust note.
Like most of our products, our entire GT2 RS product line is constructed using T304 Stainless Steel. Porsche used a 60mm exhaust valve for the bypass to the exhaust tip on each exhaust bank. Fabspeed Motorsport went much larger for enhanced flow, utilizing a 74mm Ferrari 488 Pista style Helical exhaust valve for much more exhaust flow and power potential than stock.
On their own, Fabspeed’s Porsche 991.2 GT2 RS Sport Cats add +3 WHP, +10 ft/lbs of peak gains with +11whp, +20ft-lbs at 2,900 RPM along with much more superlative sports car sound. Due to increased flow right off of the turbo chargers, we experienced better throttle response and quicker turbo spooling. Get all of the insane turbo power with none of the lag!
For a track-ready setup, we also offer a set of Catbypass Pipes with valves which are free-flowing straight pipes that replace the bulky & restrictive factory catalytic converters entirely; designed specifically for maximum flow during racing or competition. With valves closed, our Catbypass Pipe avoids any Catalytic Converter and directs the exhaust gas through your OEM muffler or Fabspeed X-Pipe. With the valves open, the exhaust gas bypasses any and all obstructions heading straight out of the back of the vehicle without hitting any muffler or traveling through further exhaust piping. This is for the GT2 RS owner who wants to get the most aggressive sound and performance out of their vehicle while still being able to quiet/refine the exhaust note with a press of a button.
We highly recommend pairing this product with an ECU tune to alleviate Check Engine Lights (Catalyst Efficiency) and also boost performance by a mind-blowing +97 WHP and +125 ft/lbs. of TQ. An ECU tune will not only provide drastic engine performance gains, but it will also improve overall driveability and better throttle response with any product setup you decide to go with on your GT2 RS. If you are looking for a significant change to your turbocharged vehicle’s performance, an ECU tune provides the biggest horsepower per dollar upgrade and it proves to be true with the 991.2 GT2 RS as well. Our Sport Cats and Catbypass Pipes also come in a valveless, race version that bypasses the muffler section altogether called Competition Cat Bypass Race Pipes and Competition Sport Cat Race Pipes. True straight pipes! These competition pipes allow for significant weight savings and impressive gains even without an ECU tune. Expect 24 WHP and 29 FT/LBS of torque without a tune and 19 LBS of weight savings! When including an ECU tune with our race bypass pipes, you will gain an eye-watering 113 WHP at 6450 RPM and 130 ft/LBS of torque at 3250. Yes, I said 113 WHP and 130 FT/LBS of torque. Also included with this race system are our popular Turndown Tips, capable of directing sound away from those pesky decibel meters on track day. If you want a modest improvement in sound and performance with your GT2 RS valves closed, look no further than our Fabspeed Maxflo X-Pipe. Our T304L Stainless Steel system replaces the bulky OEM Titanium muffler with an exhaust scavenging x-pipe for a smoother, more exotic sounding exhaust tone. This is a great product for a GT2 RS owner who wants to either keep their OEM catalytic converters or wants to take the next step with our Sport Catalytic Converters or Cat Bypass Pipes.

Following our debut of the new 991.2 GT2 RS product suite, we were able to get some great videos together and have one of our lead R&D team members sit down for a great explanation video. When Porsche announced the release of the 991.2 GT2 RS, we at Fabspeed were like a kid in a candy store filled with excitement for the new car to arrive, the GT2 RS platform has always been the pinnacle of Porsche's race car for the streets mentality. This car is an animal from the factory but paired with our products and custom ECU tune the nickname "widowmaker" seemed fitting.
