Its your money and if you have it and that is what you want, which it sounds like you do, why not?! Personally, I am done debating if I want something - if I want it I buy it...one only lives once, unless you live in India.

I'm a turbo S owner coming from a 991 4S but having TT experience having owned 4 previous TT Pcars. For me no doubt about the Turbo S hands down. I have heard the comments about just tune a 991.2 S and you can take a TTS, not happening.
In my case I have a Europipe Exhaust with the Cobb tune and PDK Upgrade só I'm not worried about too many stop light challenges. For me, coming from Porsche TT cars prior I just can't find much wrong with the TTS if you don't count the $'s.

I'm not saying one car is better than the other... But I've taken down 2 TTS with my .2 GTS.. Highway/street pulls. Lined up. Not by much but each time my car would creep away. Yes, I know if those TTS models have any mods or a tune themselves they would crush my car no problems.*

The Turbo S is one of my favorite cars, just don't think it's worth the 56k more over another 991.

I obviously choose Power with my TTS and come from something that was way more powerful and a bit quicker prior. I'm a power junky!

As said it depends on how you drive, for me it was the turbo s and then stage 4 tuning with Sam at By Design, you just have to ask yourself, do I need a 9 second street car? If the answer is yes then get the turbo s and call Sam. It's a big price jump, and you will have this stupid grin on your face every time you get on it, are you ready for that? I thought so. :)

TTS all the way for engine but also other goodies and negotiate 8-10k off selling price and ask for ie new carpets, white side markers and license frame.......to negotiate harder find some faults with the car real or not, ie wrinkled convertible roof, etc to start the conversation about price too high and see if you can get at 125 or so the car is worth it..... better than a new base 992.....that would be about the same or higher and would depreciate faster.....

This is a struggle with the Law of Diminishing Returns. Each of us makes our own judgement as to the point at which the additional benefits are not worth the extra money. I ordered a Turbo S for the host of features I was looking for over what I was already driving, and feeling that I wouldn't be tempted to upgrade again in another couple of years, or ever, helped justify the enormous cost of upgrading over what I have now. The Turbo S provides everything I could want except for.the manual and some of the ultra-engaging driving experience I love in my current car. That led to the struggle with another law...No One Car Can Satisfy Every Need. So I decided to keep my current car and looking forward to enjoying both...eating that sizable additional cost!

Keep in mind, trade-in value is always lower than purchase value from a dealer's lot. If you were to buy a roofless 2015 C4S, you would be paying close to $100k, so the true difference is $36k. If you were to trade-in that same 991 Turbo S, you would get around $110k-$115k on trade.

Worth it? absolutely. The C4S Cab might be the slowest Porsche 991 of all, it is massively heavy, and the 3.8 N/A can't move it. Test drive the TTS, it will provide you supercar acceleration. PDCC is standard. PCCB is standard. The base stereo is a good Bose, and some have the optional Bursmester. Active Aero front/rear standard. Full Leather standard. Center Lock wheels look good. It is a lighter car than a C4S Cab. Many affordable options for exhaust to make it sound awesome, my preferred option: Kline, best sound out of a 991 Turbo (sounds better than a GT2RS).

2 completely different cars. Your is NA, the other Turbo. It's not even 991.2 to turbo, it's 991.1 to Turbo.
Only you can decide if TTS worth the $$ delta.
I used to drive 991.1 GTS MT and now drive 991.1 TTS. I'd love to have a 991.1 MT GTS back in my garage and perhaps I will :) But not at expense of trading my TTS :)

Without a doubt it is worth it. I don't know if you've driven the Turbo S but in addition to being a better handling car, it is pulls so much harder than the 2015 991 C4S that it will leave you dumbfounded.

You would be shocked at how many Carrera guys downplay the truth you stated above.
