Going to go Stage 3 with my TTS -- ByDesign and World Motorsports rock!
Hey guys,
I'm getting ready to sell my current beast (2006 Ford GT with some mods...) and needed to make the TTS a lot faster. I initially thought of just going with an exhaust and tuning. I've been talking with Craig at World and Sam at By Design a lot over the last couple of weeks and have decided to go with what I think some call a Stage 3 car. I'm adding a Kline decat exhaust, IPD Y-pipe, IPD plenum, 4.5" intercoolers and a Cobb AP which will have Sam's tuning. Both of these shops are run by top-notch guys. They are so on top of their game that I had to take a few minutes to share with everyone. I can't think of anything negative to say about them and would highly recommend them to everyone. I didn't feel like there was any upselling done and they both answered all of my questions patiently. Great guys to deal with!!!!
I'm adding a set of 21" HRE P101s in the next week as well. Can't wait to get this round of mods done and get the TTS out on the street!!!!

Very nice! I'd like to see this as well. What color are you going with? How come you didn't opt for the lighter R101 LW's?

I got satin black R101 LW's for my 488 and they look absolutely beautiful. Planning to go with HRE's R101 LW in satin bronze for my TTS with R888R's and H&R lowering springs. Still not 100% sure about the color. Do you have a showroom in the store? I'm 15 minutes away

Thanks! I don't like the look of the R101 LWs as much as the original P101. Satin black...for now. I'm not really a fan of the all black look on a monoblock so we'll have to see. Might end up changing the color to a brighter color later. I'd really love to do a machined outer "lip". Try to come up with a look sort of like the stock black Porsche rims or the AMG rims where they have that little machined edge. Can that be done?
