Default Reliability of 991 Turbo

I am seeking out some advice from those who have owned these cars/multiple variants of these cars over the years. Considering a purchase in the near future, but am hearing some grumblings from local groups about reliability of the Turbo lineup. Is there any known/documented issues with these cars? Am I hearing others complain about their isolated issues and causing others to chime in? Just "those" PCA members speaking? Idk. I've always been under the impression that if you wanted a relatively trouble-free experience from a 911, your best bet lies with a Turbo/S. Is that still a fair assumption? I remember this being the motto even back to the 996/997 cars.

Thoughts?

I think the 991 TTS is fairly reliable for what it is but I have a hard time believing it is the most reliable model in the entire 911 lineup!

Winter drove the car for two years, no issues for 21000 KMs.

I've had the coolant overflow tank fail and one injector in 23K miles. Both under warranty, so I'm very pleased.

Air/oil separator @ about 6K miles. $1300 + -
Warranty & known issue. Otherwise trouble free - good car.

That said I would be reluctant to own a Porsche without a factory warranty.

Bought my 15 TTS with 3k, sold with 15k a year and a half later, full bolts ons making 700+ for most of the time, many launches, lots of events, zero issues. One of the few cars modified where you can have your cake and eat it too.

I've had 5 911s over the years: 997.1, 997.2S, 991S, 991.1 GTS, 991.2 TT. ALL have been dependable as hell with virtually no issues. The base 997.1 I had was a little weird with the clutch and a couple interior issues, and the Bose speakers rattled a bit in the 991S, but that's why you get the BURMESTER.

I would actually own a 911 without a warranty, they are that solid.

I have only owned my car for about seven or eight months. When I bought the car I post the same question here. Everyone encouraged me and I was told the cars are very reliable. Looking at the Carfax history of my car, there have never been any issues. My car currently has 47,000 miles on it.

I had a 997.2 TT convertible for 4 years and had zero problems. Tires and oil only. I've had my 991.1 Turbo S convertible for 6 years (I want a 992, but I'm not overpaying) and I had to put the AC blower in, but it was under warranty. I recently did the carbon ceramic brakes at 41,000 miles ($2,400), but aside from that normal wear it's just tires and oil so far. I don't have a warranty now, but the car is great. My first was a C2S convertible and I had zero issues as well for 4 years. They are solid, but I don't track it. I drive fast, but I never launch and I haven't done any ECU tuning.

You had to replace your PCCB pads at 41k miles? Seems unusually early.
