I'm not sure I can get a half-cage installed by January. I'm currently targeting my first track event for March at VIR. Either Chin early in the month, or PCA Zone 2 later in the month. I still need to get more break-in miles done, and the car has been getting paint correction and clear wrapped all week.

I'm sure we could help with the break-in miles!

maybe I’ll see you at VIR then. Been dying to drive that track.

What mods Oda will you be doing to the GT2? Love the color btw

Today was the first day to pull out the tools with this new car. I installed the Braille lithium battery, and installed Trackspec Autosports bucket seat recliner adapters on the driver's seat to increase the seat-back recline angle. More comfortable to drive, and makes more room between the headrest and my helmet. Next, besides installing the recliner adapter on the passenger side, Awe Tuning air foils, Cantrell half cage and Schroth harnesses. The car came with the N2 spec Cup2 tires, and I will use them for the break-in period and getting used to the car on track. Next, I will give the Cup2 R tires a shot. TPC Racing is working on a custom tune for the DSC V3 box, and if I take it out of the TTS, it will at least get an audition in the RS. Otherwise, I'll get the camber and alignment done, and then see what I think after that. Finally, when this set of brake pads is shot, I will go back to Girodisc rotors and Ferodo pads again, along with caliper studs.

I got the .pdf parts manual for the .2 GT2RS and .2 GT3RS.

The .2 GT3 RS parts catalog is shared with every GT3 from 2014-2019, RS or not.

The GT2 RS parts catalog is shared with every 991 Turbo / Turbo S from 2014-2019, so there must be more common parts in a GT2RS with the TT cars as to place the parts catalog together.

Upgrades needed in the GT2RS: The additional Olaf Manthey water tank, decent tires (Trofeo-R instead of N2-MPSC2 or overpriced Cup2-R with 2mm of good rubber), alignment and corner balance, done. Only a well driven Viper ACR-E can keep up with it, but not at VIR due to the long full-gas sections.

It looks like my wheels are going to be available. Somebody has backed out, and two others that contacted me about them have not gotten back to me. If you are interested in the HRE P101's on the car, please PM me.

Also, A/S, I'd love to find out where to get the parts catalog for the GT2RS. Any hints on where to find it?

Damn, it looks like I've got to take this TTS back to stock and sell it that way. I'm surprised there is no interest, but I always forget we here in the forums are a very passionate bunch, and the real world doesn't really care about springs or cages or actually using these cars.

Damn this thread really pisses me off...

I like to think that I am usually beyond petty jealousies and a fairly content person, but this picture sure triggers my baser instincts! Just so freaking gorgeous...

Not the intention, but I do totally understand. The alternative was to keep hush, but this damn thing just has to be shared! It belongs to the people, I'm just the steward.
