Goodbye TTS, hello GT2 RS!
I've been loving my third Porsche Turbo S, the 991.2 in GT Silver! It's been a sweetheart on the street, and a total monster on track. I ran into an opportunity to scoop up a Black GT2 RS with Weissach Package, and I couldn't resist the chance to have it. So the bad news is that I have to let this TTS go, but the good news is that I get to enjoy the new GT2 for a few years!! I'm happy with the decision, but you all know how we get attached to these cars, and I've never been more pleased with a car that the TTS. So she's officially on the market. My plan is to give it a couple of weeks trying to sell the car as is (and including all of the stock stuff, too) and then return it back to stock and sell it in OEM configuration, if I don't have any takers. I've already got no shortage of people interested in different parts and pieces, so I may be selling off some choice items if they don't migrate to the new car.
Here's the listing: https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1119268 . You are all invited to check out the listing, and if you were to happen to have something nice to comment, that'd be just fine with me. If you have some serious interest, please PM me. I can send more pics and details, and talk through the car specifics. Nothing would make me happier than if a fellow Rennlister took over the care of this car.
So on to the GT2 RS. It's simply stunning. Next level. So visceral and raw but composed. I can't wait to get it out on the track, and hell yes I am going to track this car!!
Sorry for the blurry pictures from my phone. More to come soon!
Hey, in case anybody is wondering, I also am going to sell my BMW M4 GTS. It's another real sweetheart of a car, and it's going to thrill somebody. Those cars have gotten some mixed reviews, but my buddy Pat is doing 2:06.5's at VIR in his, which is GT3 territory. Let me know if you are interested in this. 2200 miles, never tracked, fully sorted and maintained, and in absolute perfect condition.

I also need to add a word about the dealer experience. I tried to buy a different car from my local dealer, but they wouldn't tell me a price, only that my repeated "offer of the day" was still not high enough. Ultimately, another suitor came along, they told him my most recent offer, he bumped it by $3000... and they accepted it on the spot. I was disappointed/pissed. Within hours, I got on the web and found that Porsche of Arlington (Virginia) had two in stock. I called and made the deal on the phone (we agreed on the ADM), without deciding which car would be the one. I drove up two hours from Richmond with my trailer, and walked right past the Chalk colored one to this black one. It was just the car for me, and I never looked at the Chalk model again. The dealer was typical high pressure, tried to steer me to buy what they wanted to sell me (the Chalk car) and hit me with some noobie rates/fees/charges at first. I finally got things on my terms, and they quit with the pressure and nickel/dime crap pretty quickly. In the end, I am happy with Porsche of Arlington so far. I won't be back there until I am in the market again, but if you find a car they have, they can be managed easily to get a good buying experience and the price was right.
