My new to me Turbo S!
Hi all! Though fall is at an end, just wanted to share my new Turbo S. I came from an '81 911SC and let me just say this is a world apart! The amount of pull the turbo has just blows me away every time! And the amenities! Heated seats, working air conditioning AND heating, power windows that work all the way down and up---miles better than my SC Next up is to get some snow shoes and a new kline exhaust and i should be good for another couple months!
On another note, has anyone noticed a fair amount of noise from the rear axle when turning heavily at low speeds? I'm sure it's fine (related to rear axle steering?), but I did want to confirm with other owners too

Great looking car. And I confirm the above post. You shouldn't have that much noise from the rear wheels. Have it re-checked at the dealer. Worth doing at this time since it's a recent purchase.
Good luck.

Same here - no noise turning at low speeds. You should get that checked out ASAP.
The only noise I get is the "wheel skipping" when backing up or turning sharply at super slow speeds. That effect is described here: https://rennlist.com/forums/991/7842...reverse-2.html

I have noticed that mechanical noise when turning in reverse at low speeds. It seems to be most pronounced when car is cold.
