2015 TTS PDK Question
I purchased my first Porsche a 2015 TTS with PDK gearbox. My experience with DCT gearbox's is limited at best. After reading many rave reviews about the PDK my expectations were high. After driving the car for several months my impression is that the gearbox is a little slow to upshift. After listening to upshifts on many YouTube videos Im beginning to wonder if it's a problem with my car and if I should have it checked out. Looking forward to hearing from the more experienced Porsche owners on this site. Thanks

My 2014 and my 2015 Turbo S both had/have a significant shift delay. The time when you click the upshift or downshift and it actually shifts is laughably slow. Having a 458 to compare it to makes it even worse.

Hi jk
You can have the dealership perform a PDK re-learn to see if that helps. Are you interested in tuning at all? You can try the Cobb PDK software which noticeably makes things quicker, tighter and better as well as offering many other sporty and factory RS features as well as the ability to perform the PDK re-learn! Let me know if I can help and I would be glad to stand behind you to test it out!

I guess what you are complaining about is the response of the paddle shifters. the gearbox is super quick. When in manual the paddle shifters have some delay until the box shifts. I have that too, but I don't mind it much. you just have to time it just a hair before you want to have the actual shift.
