Put a DSC V3 box on the car and forget it. Ride is silky smooth on the street in comfort setting, highly poised on track in Sport +.

Just ordered my DSC V3 on Friday for my 15 991TTS. Can't wait for it to get here and install it. I will follow up with my impressions once it's installed and I had some miles under my belt.

I find the car under-damped, especially on rebound, with DSC (V2) set to normal. Sport setting gets the rebound damping under control, with seeming no harshness penalty. Is that common, or do you think something is wrong with my DSC module (or my shocks)?

No, you are probably right, the car might have a very mild "Lincoln Town Car" ride in comfort mode on slightly upset roads (my Mom drove Cadillacs and Lincolns until the late 1990s, then discovered BMW), but Sport tightens it up if needed. In Richmond, our roads are very good and I don't ever feel like I want to set it to Sport, but it's always there on slightly bumpy roads if I wanted...like maybe on an expansion bridge. You also have the ability with DSC to do a custom tune for California roads that tightens up the damping a bit if you so choose, and that might be your solution.

Well I've put about 200 miles on my DSC V3 since installation. Took less than 15 minutes to install, although the big connector was a bear to get off. The ride is definatly better in normal. It's still a sports car and not a lincoln or caddy, just not as harsh on bumps and bad roads. Overall, I'm very pleased. Mine is a daily driver and while I did try sport and sport plus, I was on the freeway here in town and really can't voice an opinion yet. If your on the fence about doing this mod, go for it, you won't be disappointed.

Default 991.1 vs 991.2 Ride!

Thanks Jim M. for feedback on DCS V3. Would be interested on its effect in all modes when you can safely exercise the TTS. But its use as a DD is very important, comfort on public roads will be majority of miles.
Perhaps I should invest in DCS V3 stock, even before I take delivery of TT-S. Sounds like Porsche should invest also. No doubt they have something in the pipeline.
Be Safe, thanks again.
