Would love to see an update after a season of driving with respect to how it holds up to road rash, and whether you think PPF over the thin vinyl wrap is recommended.

I always assumed that you couldn't wrap the door sills but after seeing yours I started looking into a wrap. My car is also black and I would most likely wrap in white or possibly blue. Did you use a gloss white and did they wrap the door itself?

Yes. The doors are wrapped. The color is Avery white pearl. The 2 primary companies that manufacture the wraps are Avery and 3M. Literally hundreds of colors to choose from. Best to evaluate the swatches to determine what you prefer.
