Default 991.2TTS By Design Stage 4 Ready To Go!

Hey all. We have been working on this one the longest to create the same smooth power delivery that we achieved on the Stage 3 map just elevated. With 100 octane we got 650+hp to the wheels. With a light spray of meth simulating 103+ octane we got just under 700hp to the wheels! About 691 with 700tq on a 100 octane map. After some the owner gets to enjoy this beauty for a bit we will go for a By Design Stage 4 race map and I guarantee we will hit 730+.

Thanks as usual to my awesome team and supporters out there. The By Design Stage 4 is ready for sale!

Stage 4 (up from 3) adds our By Design/TiAL 68mm VTG Upgrade. We can get as high as 630 to the tires with stock turbo chargers and all of the supporting modifications and that’s not as hard as we would want to push it. Around 650 with high-octane. With the larger turbochargers we can go about 100 horse power above and beyond that with octane and or methanol.

Here’s a really cool comparison picture of before and after components all but the turbo chargers one of our Porsche dealer representatives installed last week.

93. We can get just about that with 91 with different approach but we’ve got a pretty solid 620 on 91.

Exciting news from this morning Nigel just ran a 10.08 at 135+ miles per hour in his cabriolet on 21 inch wheels! Pump program!

And Mike just ran 9 in his Coupe at 137!

Had a huge blast! Went out test and tune style to try and gauge where the car was .... after a few passes and dialing her in it became apparent this full weight 991.2 TTS cab wanted to go freakin 9's!

I also wasn't in optimum race mode with 21" summer tires and wheels, 10 gallons too much fuel weight with meth and and a few other tricks of the trade that I could have easily employed. These cars rock! Mechanically the car is set up beautifully, gear shifts are tight and crispy through the rev range and the 2-3 shift point is notably compliant under load compared to the .1s. Made almost 10n passes and the car became consistently faster as we dialed her in.

Huge thanks to (.2) Mike for the invite - rockin' the first 991.2 to roll 9s on planet earth! That is a big freakin deal Bro!

Specific Thanks to Sam at By Design along with the entire team for the dedication, engineering and think outside the box "Can Do" attitude.

Always felt the 991.2 would do 9's with minimal mods. Proven based on this result - just wait until the .2 hardtops flood the gates.

Yea the new stuff works MUCH better than the stock stuff, I was telling Sam, every time I get back home from driving the Porsche, I just say "thank you Sam" as I leave the car. Have a lot of cars, but now this one is the most fun to drive.

I hear you about to stuff 18 gallons of 100 octane in the tank, but that's only 50 hp, so yea in 2 weeks we need to add more, and you know it's ALL YOUR FAULT
