It's not actually a coating, it's a part of our quality control process that we then make uniform across the product. Take a read about it in our technical article below

Thanks John, very cool indeed - the finish is nice, pity you can't really see it when its mounted...

Hi

Do you have a sound clip of a TT/TTS with just the exhaust and stock cat, then another sound clip of exhaust and sport cat, and a stock muffler that is catless? All I seem to find is clips of catless with exhaust. I'm trying to gauge which combination will give me the exhaust note I like the best....which doesn't always equate to loudest. Thanks.

Z.

Z, thank you for considering all of our options! Unfortunately we do not have video of the x-section only. I'd like to take care of anyone who could get us good quality video of it.

SOUL Exhaust + Sport Cats (Sport X-Pipe Exhaust System)

SOUL Exhaust + Catless Pipes (Competition X-Pipe Exhaust System)

Stock Exhaust + SOUL Cat Bypass Pipes

We have a 991 Turbo in the shop ready for a few upgrades! Stay tuned!

Just read your installation instructions; very clear and concise - it is a plus not having to remove the bumper cover!

Thank you! I do my best to create them for the expert AND the enthusiast picking up a wrench for the first time.

So you need a video of a 991.2 TT with only the X pipe, OEM Cat Back ?

Competition X-Pipe Exhaust System installed!

We're also installing By Design / TiAL upgraded intercoolers - the quality is absolutely perfect with the 3D printed aluminum end tanks.

This is a fun build, thanks for the kind words! The 3D printed Tial intercoolers are wicked haha.

This 991.2 Turbo S was in need of more power and cooling capabilities for both street and track use with support for a turbo upgrade in the future. We’re happy to oblige and sourced top tier components to achieve a phenomenal final result.

It’s crucial to monitor and mind IAT, oil, and water temperatures. TiAL Intercoolers will go a long way in preventing heat soak during sustained abuse at high horsepower levels. The 3D metal printed end caps are a nice touch!

Our Competition X-Pipe Exhaust System is the perfect fit for this track weapon. Back purged welds and durable components will make sure it lasts for many race weekends to come – backed for life on street and track by our Lifetime Warranty!

An Eventuri Carbon Fiber Intake kit allows for increased air flow. The carbon fiber quality is fantastic with no imperfections or cracks. An IPD plenum and Y-Pipe complete high flowing intake setup for more power.

IPD’s innovative Y-Pipe design is not only larger than factory but also utilizes “non-round” runners, an optimized merge collector area and our proven dimpled interior surfacing. This superior design delivers greater volume of air, improved laminar flow and increased air velocity.

With the hard parts installed a Softronic ECU Tune to optimize the car for all the modifications – with gains of over 100 horsepower and 100 ft-lbs of torque to be expected! Softronic has been working with Porsche systems for nearly 30 years. From street cars to race cars, Softronic has involved itself in all types of motorsports to stay consistently involved in the industry. Having cutting edge technology not only makes the ECU tuning process more efficient, it also makes it more accurate. Softronic has been the technical advisor for the Porsche Club of America (PCA) for over 10 years as well. One of the main functions that Softronic serves is data checking of Porsche Motorsports vehicles for race teams having exclusively tuned the Porsche Interseries cars, winning Daytona car, World Challenge, Koni Cup and countless others in racing
!

The end result yielded a very, VERY fast Turbo with a total night and day different in drivability and sound. Throttle response is much more immediate and the turbos spool much quicker. Presence in the cabin has been increased be a refined amount with more turbo sound and it’s nice to actually hear the exhaust note. We look forward to upgrading the turbos in the near future.

Questions? Comments? Considering a build of our own? Let us know!
