Default Center Lock Socket Storage Location

Does anyone knownwhere the centerlock socket is stored? I looked in the frunk and interior and can not find it in my car.

Mine is in the Frunk, but you have to pull off the back cover. It is on the left side, I think in a small foam case. I have a 2017 991.2 TTS Cab.

I believe it's under the trunk liner. The flat piece between the frunk and the wipers.

Yep, it's under the big plastic piece between the boot storage area and the windshield. Grab that plastic piece by the finger holes on the left and right sides, pull up then out. Set it aside. The CL tool is stored in a cylindrical holder and has a top that screws off. Unscrew it and, as pictured above, its there with a cap removal tool. There is also a portable electric tire inflator to the left of it that can be removed and stored outside the car, too.

It seems that mine is missing the socket… has anyone had to buy a replacement? Any other brands other than $400+ oem one?

Suncoast has them for $260, I would honestly go with OEM.
