Smile Porsche Entry & Drive

The "dummy key" that stays in the vehicle was lost. Does anyone know if it is a big deal to get a new one? Does it have to be programmed to the car, I assume? Any idea on cost?

The place I bought the car from is going to cover the cost ... I'm just hoping it's not too expensive for them. They were nice guys, and treated me right.

Dummy key doesn't have to be programmed. Only a real key needs to be programmed.

They're inexpensive.

I'm more curious how it was "lost"?

Excellent! Thanks. No idea how it was lost ... could've been them, or the previous owner. Likely the previous owner took it out, and forgot about it.

Thanks guys.

I take it you validated the car actually has keyless entry and drive?

Some people buy cars and post the dummy is missing, only to later learn the car was never equipped with the feature.

Yessir - thank you. I have the window sticker, and it is listed as a $1,090 option.

Dummy key ordered! Thank you Rennlist

Sure, here's a few more. I love the contrast of the interior ... such a pretty car. Great lines with top up, or down. Mark

Wow - that black / red combo is stunning. Love the carbon fiber and alcantra accents. Gorgeous.
