I honestly considered these options when replacing stock rotors, but could not see a valid reason to go with this over OEM because OEM is almost 1/3 cheaper and does the job very well (no overheating, no cracking, not heavier). So what's the reason for using these over OEM?

What is the benefit of drilling slots? From what i understand you get slotted rotors so they don't crack as fast as the cross-drilled rotors do while still providing great stopping power.

OE Front: 380x34mm

OE Rear; 380x30mm

They are dual (aluminum hat+iron ring) cast and not a two piece rotors, the rings are not replaceable.

Drilled holes always clog up with brake debris, and "crack" from heat stress under even street driving (picture shown is a GT-R rotor):

Given no proven performance difference, I'd go OEM for looks alone (ignoring cost)!

RB two piece rotor has both look and performance.

Here is a review by "mikymu" on RB two piece replacement for Corvette ZR1 CCM on Thunderhill race track:

After install:

After bed-in:

RB rotors will look like this w/o getting rust like OE after use.

Track duty iron replacement rotors for standard (red caliper) brakes are shipping.

380x34mm front
380x30mm rear

These are the same exact sizes as GT-R earlier model (08-11), which RB two piece rotors are favored by most serious track racers.

Purchase complete car set (front and rear) and save 10% than purchase separately. (plus free shipping until end of June)

http://www.racingbrake.com/RB-Iron-R...por-irk-05.htm

In stock for prompt shipment, street (XT910) and track (XR70) pads are available.

Our rear two piece rotors are made with forged aluminum and iron sleeve insert and is light weight and fully compatible with OE emergency brake.

Or these off topic CCB's: http://www.racingbrake.com/RB-CCM-Pa...por-crk-02.htm

Picking up my car Sept 24th.
I will do 4 days or Ring, 2 days of Spa and 1 day of RedBullRing the first week.

Trip #2 will be another 7 or so track days
Mid October probably need a set of pads.

Trip #3 another 7 or so.
Will have to start keeping an eye on rotors.

Maybe a 4th trip or ship it to Sebring and 48hours for 10+ days at Sebring so for sure will need rotors by then.

I hope GT3(RS) track junkies will adopt both steel and CCB rotors to compare.

My car is coming with steel setup, Id rather invest in better rotors and calipers.
Me thinks thi9s car is going to be a brake killer.
