PTS 2015 yes/no/no/no/yes?
I placed order in August for PTS, no cars avail......Waited and waited. Dealer offered an allocation in early October but no PTS. I gambled and passed for possibility of PTS. Surprise to me, just got a call yesterday from my dealer and he said 2015 PTS GT3 a go!!!
I thought this was impossible?:

Sounds sketchy. I thought there was a big PTS issue for 991 right now.

You are in Canada- it's possible it may only apply to Canadian customers, so everyone else please take note.
Otherwise I agree- WTF!!!

I find it odd. Even if you are from Canada, the cars are still built in Germany so how would buying from a different country impact this? I thought it was to help with scheduling an dot boost production as the VW group attempts to take over the #1 manufacturing spot and push Toyota aside.
I too would like a PTS, but was told no way.
Good luck to you. I hope you do get it.

I'm in Canada too. Just curious which dealer and what the build date is...PTS usually needs a 3 month lead time and to the best of my knowledge the last known Canadian PTS is a November build...

On my paperwork from Porsche Canada says vehicle status "V215 Blocked by PAG- not changeable"
Also have a comm. no.
I have not seen the schedule but it was Feb production.
Can someone explain "V215"?

Different country organizations deal with the Factory at Porsche differently with different markets and regs. PCNA could be the one that is pushing warranty liabilities with US customers and scaring Porsche away from PTS for US customers, and Canada might be saying-"Tough ****e, you ordered custom, std warranty doesn't apply..." pure speculation on my part.

I am still questioning if it will actually happen.
I have been combing rennlist since 991 gt3 was released.
Eduardo posts a lot about PTS and I know he likes the green family.
I looked at the PTS approved list of the greens and had samples done up of
D28 Green (rs green)
22S signal green
225 Viper green
The viper green was my choice
