Thanks mcsmcs1.. That will be very helpful. I think the leather steering column is a smart extra spend as it's a large plasticky piece otherwise. there is another extended leather option (not the extends dash one) which I'm still debating.. Something to do with lower leather door panels if memory serves me... Hope someone takes pics of that.

You mean CLP - Extended Interior Package, Door Panel in Leather/Alcantara option for $690?
Courtesy of Ryan - "Melissa at Porsche Exclusive got right back with me, she is awesome. Here is a picture of a door panel where she has highlighted the sections, in green this time, that are covered by the Extended Interior Package, Door Panel in Leather/Alcantara option."
I decided against these insignificant bits of leather which are mostly seen with the door opened only.

A ha! That explains why it's ONLY $700.. There is nothing there!!!!!
maybe sun visors make sense as you touch them often, maybe steering column as it covers a big hunk of plastic with stitching.. Can't think of anything else which makes sense to spend $ on extra leather for

No, it really does come that way.. Neon green is evocative of a famous RS 2.7 which was crashed by a Porsche test driver exiting the factory gates.. That was his racing color.. Tragedy actually, anyway.. Part of Porsche lore... it's only for true connoseurs. You should study up a bit if you are going to be a worthy gt3 owner

@ Nick, just kidding.
@mcsmcs1, gonna go naked and buy a drill free bracket. Likely keep the plate and bracket in the boot and put it on if I'm traveling through a high risk zone. At least that's the plan. What's yours?

I think I’m going to buy a plate mount that screws into the tow-hook spot. I don’t love the off-center look, but at least it goes on & off quickly (and I will go naked most of the time).

I don't think I could have waited much longer. Thanks again! If you ever get to this area I will buy you dinner for sure.

That's my plan too. Haven't had one in the past but figure this car may attract more attention from LE. Mount the plate on it and keep it in the frunk. If I get stopped it will be, "Sorry officer, had a track event this past WE and took it off. Here, let me put it on for you right now!" Worth a try....
