M2 as daily driver, occasional track car all day long. I own one and couldn't be happier.

E46 M3. Looks awesome and dirt cheap.

Until the rear sub-frame shears off. Then it's the direct opposite of dirt cheap.

I had f80 M3 for a year for DD and was good car
currently drive E63 S, great daily, engine sound is great , power is amazing
I just ordered an M2 as a second daily
M5 can be good daily . I had mine for a year... sound not as good as AMG
C63 S also can be a great daily with great sound

The S65 was BMW's last great achievement. Best $25-30k you can spend on a sports car. Nothing else even comes close. Maybe an S2000. New M's look cool, but sound....****ty. Except for the M4 GTS which looks ****ty and also sounds ****ty.

No manual transmission, no alfa.

If you're going to go that route, do a 2015 R8 instead.

Own an M2. It's pretty solid and fun. Lacks much aural excitement but fun all around. Run same lap times as M3/4.

Only drove a z28 on track so hard to compare for DD.
