It was quite refreshing to just make a call and get one for supplier pricing instead of enduring the shenanigans of purchasing Porsche GT cars.
Fingers crossed!

It will take the beating. My 850whp Gen 5 has been flogged long and hard. It's pushing 12 pounds of boost and has been trouble free (on boost) for 20,000 miles. It has every Camaro suspension product known to mankind as well as CTS-V brakes and tons of other mods.
It's a tough car, no issues whatsoever.
You should see the stinkeye when i bring it to the PCA autocrosses.....

will the camaro do better with overheating due to bigger engine bay and more radiators?

Three Wheelin'
This is basically Americas GTR, but with pieces from its big brother, and a good manual box. With the Viper now gone, there is a niche for this. It beats the snot out of the GT350 on track, and would be comparable in the looks department.

That is in fact exactly my goal! If it does take the beating, I may be hard pressed to spend over double for a new GT3.

"The car did a 1:54 in the morning (90 deg) and 1:55's in the afternoon when it was over 100. Water temp 215, oil temp 285, better temps than my old c6 z07. I was taking a couple cool down laps in the middle of the session due to brake fade."
He was running stock pads with SRF fluid. Temps were good, IMHO. Coolant is great and oil temp is up there but within normal parameters for these engines, especially on such a hot day. Here are two vids:

That was my buddy, Bari. He's a fast driver and it was very hot with a less than ideal track surface. Here were his comments:
