Default OT: Upgraded my audio system while I'm in GT3 RS Limbo

Being that I can never sit still, I decided to remodel my listening room. I just put some new gear in and wanted to give it more of a special feel than just being a space optimized for 2 channel listening.

The old room with Kef Blade 2s (going to a good home with another RL member), Theta Prometheus, Aesthetix Pandora Eclipse, Mojo Audio Mac Mini and an old BPT 2.5 power conditioner:

New version of the room with a little paint, new lamps, the Sonus Faber Il Cremonese, Ayre KX-5 Twenty Preamp, Ayre VX-5 Twenty Amplifier, Ayre QX-5 Digital Steamer/DAC, Audioquest Niagara 7000 power conditioner, Audioquest WEL Signature Interconnects, Audioquest Redwood biwire speaker cables, GIK Acoustic wall and ceiling treatments and Quadraspire X-Reference rack (waiting for sofa):

Some of you people have too much money.

Serious question, is this room simply for listening to music?

It looks like a cross between a temple (which in some ways it is), and a laboratory dedicated to zapping you into ant man

Good luck, and happy listening !

Short answer is yes. I also practice saxophone in there because of the acoustics.

LOL!!! I'm waiting for my GT3.2....and did exactly the same thing! Got bored, and upgraded the HOME THEATER room...my layout is a little different, as I am set up for 7.1 ATMOS, etc....

BTW, Sonus Faber speakers (as you know, obviously) ROCK, the most MUSICAL I've ever heard....
For HT, I went with Paradigm Signatures all around...

OK, now to back to Porsche.

Here is the poor man's version

May be I should think of upgrading this, it's been 5 years. On another note, here is what takes my time while I await, all DIY. Finishing touches are pending. Love to play with cars and electronics.

I have the Paradigm Signatures (S8, etc...) in my home theater. They're phenomenal, and trounced in comp trials vs top of the line B&W, Revel, and many other apex challengers, over the range of musical genres.

Some crazy stuff there. That room is probably worth more than most homes.
Question for Dr G. I live in Niagara and was curious with the name of your Audioquest "Niagara" 7000 power conditioner?

And that is one amazing home theatre. It's a shame it will never hear Eminem.
