BBS Painted the gold wheels and the company who does the pinstripes for Porsche did it on this wheel for a very special customer in USA.

32 pounds of rotating unsprung weight to be more specific.

Essentially the same weight savings as PCCBs (new), but this weight is much further out and hence will make a bigger difference...

So the obvious question is how much do they cost vs PCCBs? (Looking for any justification to blow my allowance).

Yes exactly its a very big savings in unsprung weight!

32 lbs of unsprung weight is probably about 500 pounds off the car! (just a very rough guesstimate although there is probably a formula you can use to get a closer calc)

PM on the way!

Factory finishes will be Satin Black or Matte Titanium

Will refrain from PM'ing you.

Hint: Its less than the Manthey Racing Magnesium wheels for the GT3RS...

Bad guess. There are rough formulas, but the good ones are not close to that...

Put it this way: shaving 1/8" (3 mm) of rubber of all four tires is worth about 16 lbs total, so half of the weight savings here (but further out yet, so even better). But that's in no way equivalent to a 22% weight reduction or power bump, etc, and even very good drivers are hard pressed to feel the weight difference between worn and new tires when they're replaced.

It's a good thing, but not nearly that good. Despite which you can PM me a price as well please.

Right maybe double the unsprung weight value would be more realistic.

Will shoot you a pm now.

I know it might be a silly question, but why do photos of some wheels need to be removed on the request of the owner? Am I missing something?

Is it because the gold one was naked?

He requested so we took down the pics. He spent the loot so if he wants to show off his new shoes when the time is right he should be able to.

More pics will be up very soon
