Sweet ride. Easily a match for the stuff in the Petersen, though much better that it's being used as intended...

been enjoying the food and car pics in this thread. bikes are fine, just stay off the fun driving roads!

Pranqster's comment on where he lived almost made me ask if he worked at North Coast.
was surprised and happy to see that Costco (of all places) has Pranqster and Brother Thelonious for under $6.

since there is now some beer talk, have had most of these sitting around the house for 6+ yrs.
also trying to figure out an occasion or time to open them.

My wife's brother and his wife live in Fort Bragg California. They are good friends with everyone at North Coast and hang out with the brewer quite a bit. When real estate prices were in the toilet in 2010 we bought a second home in Westport that is on a bluff with 270 degree ocean frontage
views. Once I get my fifteen year old twins in college I am going to try to drive as many of the great roads north and south of San Francisco I can find. In t he meantime I go there to drink wine, look at the ocean and ride my mountain bike.

If you like that style, you should try Knee Deep Brewing in Auburn, you’ll likely find a DIPA you like even better there.

Havent been to their new brewery up in Auburn since they moved from outside of Sacramento (Lincoln) in 2017.
But I've heard from friends that they have gone from a 15 barrel brew house to a 40 barrel 4 vessel system at their new location.

In fact, my brother and a buddy of his are at Knee Deep as we speak, on their way back from a 3 day motorcycle ride up to Tahoe on their KTM adventure bikes.
And yes..... I've had the Hoptologist and its terrific! But when I can source 2 bottles of super fresh Pliny at my local bottle shop every Thursday for only $5.50 each, I'm in Heaven!

nice. a 2nd place on the coast is on the list of things to do in the future.
something up that way would be nice, but a pretty healthy drive from South Bay.
but could stop at Russian River, Anderson Valley and a host of other breweries along the way.

definitely lots of nice driving roads up that way too.
haven't done all of "the loop", but did do "the lollipop" last time we were up that way.
think many people posting in this thread know this bridge.
