I stand and by saying that this is how it should have left the factory! Loud and gnarly with a manual.
This is Porsche to me and how I've envisioned 911's growing up.
Long live the manual. 👌
a little birdie told me you're forshadowing what may come next with the RS.. but you'll always have been the first.

Awesome. Congratulations to all involved. Both the owner and BGB have some cojones for taking this on.

Thanks man, If that Birdie is correct then that would be a mission accomplished by BGB, the Porsche community and Rennlist members for showing interest in this car and supporting the build. 😜
Think all the trolling of Porsche's social media paid off!!

Read every single page of this thread and watched the videos on BGB's Instagram feed...WOW.

Congratulations on a spectacular build and I wouldn't be surprised if your car and the mod were heavily discussed internally to Porsche.

Try to get it featured in 'Panorama', and they'd scratch it even more. He he.

Hey, for the benefit of future adopters, what was the approx cost of the transplant alone (excluding leather options, and unrelated improvements, but with everything else)? Curious if the 40 grand you mentioned, or more. Could be wrong, but I'd almost bet my house if you sell you car, you'd get most (if not all) of the conversion back. Take care, and hope all is going well with the human baby.

This I doubt. Modifications really don't play out that well in the second hand market, even one as well documented as this. If the 991.2 3rs comes with a manual as is rumored by some then this would also be a factor.

Not wanting to diminish what OP has done - it's a unique and awesome machine, but it's not the sort of activity which you come out of financially whole (and I would expect OP is fully aware of this).

No offence.. But it's in poor taste to ask someone how much & they've dumped into their car.. You want to know? MSG BGB if you're serious.

While I typically agree with $ returns for mods.. But in this case, the OP's car is so unique and is a true 1 of 1. No other 991.1 RS with a 6MT!
This is front page cover stuff.

Agreed with @CAlexio, this is worthy of an ADM uplift..
