Default Preferred pad for PCCB track work?

Any update from those tracking their PCCB 991 GT3/RS/R, re: their brake pad of choice?
Appreciate your input!

OEM pads, which are Pagid, work great. I usually get 8 days out of them.

David,
Thx, and BTW, Voodoo Blue RS is the King! I had a Voodoo RS ordered, and the dealer snatched it away to get big $$$. Drive safe!

I switched to Pagid RS1. IMO better modulation before ABS hits. Stock pads were too easy for me to hit ABS with too little effort.

Hughp3 where did you purchase and how much was it? Looking at replacing my pads soon. Thanks!

Hope I'm not hijacking your thread David, but wanted to ask a question regarding PCCBs and tracking. How much track use before PCCBs become a really bad idea? I'm planning on joining a local track - Atlanta Motorsports Park. I could imagine doing a two days per month, probably 60 minutes of driving per day. Wondering if I need to swap rotors or just keep my eye on them.

EDIT - typo fixed.

Hugh seems to be out there a good amount and his PCCBs are holding up just fine. I really only go about once a month myself. I'm glad to hear you're joining the RS group out there!

Search for PeteVB's thread on PCCB's.. Very enlightening and filled with facts and real world usage stats.

Martini991 - I believe Discovery Parts can get them, ask for Ron.

Hello Lodi good to see you Saturday! Yeah what RealityGT mention, big thread there. I also called SICOM who may now be called ReBrake who can refurnish PCCB http://www.rebrake.de/preise/?lang=en

they said they use their refurbish stuff on own race cars. I ordered the pccb's just from this call. do not personally know anyone who has used them but they guy was for real.

The rotors will be fine for 1 1/2 to 2 years, depending on track miles and length of your sessions. You can also switch to Surface Transforms ceramic rotor kit (12k). Those rotors last at least 50 days, probably more and they can be refurbished up to 5 times!

Stock PCCB pads (with stock tires) are actually incredibly durable. I haven't had the ABS issue, but I try not to use the brakes too much...
