If it costs $30,000 to fix it and one is not confident Porsche will step up I can not blame one to move it right before warranty up. No way would I pay $30,000 out of my own pocket

Realistically, that IS the only way the cloud semi-lifts on this car.

My next car will be a GT3 - but might just be a .2 in 2-3 yrs.

As of today there are 122 .1 GT3s for sale on AT. If one is so inclined, there is just about every color and option combination out there somewhere.

Market is changing for all of these cars.
Appears like there is a little market saturation. Whether appearance is reality who knows but with that many GT3s, there are also quite a few RSs, I am sure there are also plenty of GT4s, and now with the introduction of the .2 GT3 consumers have many choices. No need to mention pricing because really does not matter. Turning slowly in to a buyer's market

Agreed.
122 cars for sale in the USA is not an abundance.
UK has 30 plus GT3's on Pistonheads alone with 20 plus RS's.
Word on the street in Blighty is CS spec is now fetching a small premium in comparison to comfort spec'd GT3's........I am also the proud owner of a .1 GT3 CS.

Agreed, as percent of total imported, it's not all that high. But it's enough that somebody searching for one should have no trouble finding the spec they want.
Same for the RS. There are 67 on AT with all different specs and some wide price ranges. Anyone willing to pay a moderate premium should be able to find what they want.

No, it's a great build actually, and it has the clubsport roll cage in it. Why the buyer I referenced went down the street and paid $50k more for basically the exact same car, just 1,800 fewer miles and a little more warranty, is beyond me.

There are two cars out there that I'm watching closely as a gauge of the market, one GT3 in SoCal and one RS herein NorCal. Not surprised the GT3 hasn't sold yet, as I think it's moderately overpriced, but I am surprised at the RS. It's priced very well (~$25k over) relative to everything out there and it's sitting unsold. Yet, nearly the exact same spec car, brand new, just sold for a lot more, just down the road from it.
That may occur this year too but no GT4 numbers to reduce GT3 quantities.
Let's hope for a bonus round near the end of 991.2 GT3 production!
