Please Help: Rennlist Forum addiction

So true. Reminds me of the Calvin and Hobbes strip where he breaks a window with a baseball and Calvin's dad is yelling at him for it and Calvin interrupts his dad to note that he could have been stealing, doing drugs, etc, so in the grand scheme of things, breaking a window while playing baseball outside isn't that big of a deal.........

Still I hear you on the Rennlist/car addiction thing. It's one thing to check rennlist 3 times a day right after a new car is announced, but your fiance may have a point in that it's not healthy to check rennlist 3 times a day very single day, year round. Even though the 991 GT forum is one of the most active on Rennlist, important stuff isn't going on here every single day, and there are a lot of things to experience in life besides cars......
You'll also notice that 80% of the posts on the 991 GT forum come from the same 10 posters. So there are others here that share your addiction.
Personally, I've become a little worried about this myself and I made a personal goal to only check rennlist every other day, because checking 3 times a day, every day is too much, and although I love cars particularly Porsche GT cars, its a big world out there and there are many cool things in it besides cars.

My understanding is that there are way worse things to look at on the internet. I only know this because other RL's have eluded to it. In all seriousness, this world can be full of joy or sorrow and if this passion brings you a lift then enjoy. Moderation may help if your fiancé needs more stimulating conversation (couldn't imagine what that would be). Fine line between passion and obsession. Good luck.

He asks what did I do...I say why fight em and ordered .2 GT3.
I don't watch tv much anymore...like this better.
Plus gave ex wife millions so she doesn't get to boss me around anymore.
My only suggestion is less typing and more driving.
