Hey Rob,
quick question... Does the Sony camera case have replaceable front lens? They get damaged at track quite easily with my luck.

Would you be able to check how it performs at very poor light conditions? I wanted to shoot some videos at night from a flight deck but did not find GoPro up to the task.
Does your camera record anything at night?

Another question. How is the sound recorded when mounted outside the car? GP is basically crap. Only shattering of the case being recorded in my case.
Just my .2 cents to the general mourning about GP... I got cheap Chinese copy of it and it performed exactly the same!! For 30usd...
Thanks!

Yes, you have a lot of lens choices. I had no idea until i just checked!

I will try to get some night recording tonight, but living in the mountains might prove tough. But i will try. Sound is a lot better outside the car due to wind reduction.

Ok, great. Thanks!

With the lens I was referring to the case you the camera in. It's actually not a lens but a front glass of the plastic case. Can you replace it or the whole case needs to be replaced ?

Just returned a GoPro session 5. What an incredibly small cube 1"X1" of technology, but iPhone software and user interface killed it.

I like this Sony but do not love it because of the size. The next version should be 1/2 the size so I will hang on.

Just keep in mind that the size of the Sony is very small. Not sure if it shows in photos, but I have never given the size a second thought. It is a little bigger than the GoPro 4, but it works.
