Default Manual .2 GT3 for a 2016 RS

Surprised no one has offered their manual/ PTS allocation for an RS. Might be the best deal we have seen for someone wanting an RS.
Just curious, I am not interested.

I wouldn't accept the offer. To me, .1GTRS > PTS .2GT3

I did not mean an even trade, but rather the diff. between the .2 build MSRP and the RS MSRP. Cash plus the .2 for the RS.

Hmmmm, I'd still have a hard time giving up an RS for a GT3....too much of a downgrade in my head.

I am not in same boat and I am sure there are others in my camp, as well.

I would rather have a GT3 than an RS. I am not a huge fan of the wing and turbo like side scoops. Now, I also do not track so I do not need all that aero. GT3 better looking car and now with a 4.0 500 HP Manual I would not even swap for a PTS RS. Different strokes for different folks.

Your right - "An RS is an RS". Hence I do not want one. If I did would be driving one. I know this sound nuts but I chose a GT4 over an RS. It is not always about having the latest and greatest for me.

I have been is search of the Perfect car for me that checks all my boxes. I think the GT4 came close but just needs that GT3 motor. The .2 GT3 may be that "Special" one that does it for me - at least for now

Perhaps pdk PTS .2 GT3 for pdk RS would be more adequate. Why does it have to be a manual? I thought pdk converts do not value the manual transmission. As a matter of fact, they see it as " old technology ". So it shouldn't be worth more to baby boomers, correct? In reality,we all know the manuals will be priced higher there's no " ifs " or " buts " about it! In fact,I frequent the vehicle marketplace regularly and each and every used tip or pdk sells for less and takes longer to go. I don't think there's one thread where a tip or pdk are for sale where someone won't comment " wish it was a manual ".
So yeah RS is a great car,but offer me one at 30K below MSRP and won't touch it with a 10 foot pole because of pdk.

Jimmy, you summarized my thoughts fairly close, regarding the preference of the GT3 over the RS. The only difference would be is the 3.8 engine in the .1GT3 was a bigger drawing card than the GT4 with MT. If I'm lucky enough to get the .2 GT3, I'm still undecided, but leaning a bit now towards the MT.
