Stealth 911R and Gloss 911R Protected
Hey guys, I wanted to show you these two 911Rs we had in the shop just recently. Both cars received full body paint protection film.
The white car with red stripes got gloss film and the silver car with green stripes got full body Stealth (matte).
I’m sure you’re wondering. Yes, the film goes over the factory stripes. I mean, we could remove the stripes, install the paint protection film and then install new stripes. However, that also means the stripes wouldn’t be original anymore… so most of these get the film over. They look great through.
The silver car also had a set of BBS FI-R Centerlock wheels.

Thanks! Ufff. Guards red with Stealth. Not off the top of my head right now. Would have to look the back catalog. That said, red is a color many are afraid to make Stealth. Most are grey, silver, black, orange and yellow. We just had a yellow Stealth Huracan last week.

If one was going for the "frozen paint" look, the matte film is a better option than owning a car with the actual paint that achieves this look.

When we're doing custom graphics we usually do the clear bra first then graphics on top so they can be removed individually.
For a special edition car with factory graphics people often want to leave the factory graphics and protect them as well with the clear bra. It's normal to get silvering around the edges when doing so. There’s also the chance you will need to replace the stripes if you remove the film. However, the film is protected by warranty, the factory stripes are not and it’s still better than having to repaint a front end. If you hit something big enough to damage the film and need to remove it you will likely be replacing the stripe as well.
Of course, this might not be the optimum setup for a car that's just going to sit, a collector or something like that that will never be driven... but if the car is going to see miles, this is the only way to go.
