Default 991.2 GT3

Hey Guys,

I am about to place an oder for a new GT3. Guards red after i saw the car released in red. Black wheels. Black LED lights.
Door handle in gloss black ? May be

Bucket seats with red stiching

I am not sure of the seats
Full bucket seats with hight adjustment or Sport bucket seat with folding back?

Also not sure of the roll cage? would the back of the car look empty with no seats?

Any advise from current, previous GT3 owners would be much appreciated

I curently have a 991 Carrera S with 14 way seats and Cayanne GTS with 8 way sport seats

Thanks

I have the folding seats and no roll cage.
Doesn't look empty to me and it permits me to easily stuff the back with bags when needed.
Considering the .2 and will resolutely choose the same config.

Do you plan to track the car frequently or not?

If yes, then CS package.
If no, then you don't really need a roll cage that will just be an obstacle to put stuff on the available space behind the seats.

Regarding the seats, I would suggest to test both to determine which one you find the more comfortable.

Also, please not the sport bucket don't have the electric height adjustment, but are more practical to use the space behind the seats. Also, you can not have the fire extinguisher with them, contrary to the full bucket seats.

Thanks a lot. I am not planning to track the car but thought the roll cage is part of the GT3 deal. Looks good and make the car more of a race car. Would that be reasonable ? I really cant make my mind!

I would skip the gloss black door handles, but I would opt for the full bucket seats as well as the cage.

To each his own

For me, this is the GT3 RS that is the "homologation special".
The GT3 is the right balance between sport and elegance.

Indeed, I'm more a GT3 guy than a GT3 RS one

And if I had the luck to configure a brand new GT3, I would certainly obtain a "R with a wing" at the end of the day.

Of course, I would choose a manual.
