bronson, you're very kind. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work in this field.

My father is a periodontist. I became a MD instead. I should have followed in his footsteps.

Luckily I don't deal with too many fluids of any colour these days.

Open or transarterial??

cardiac anesthesiologist here... in training we'd loose 16 liters at a time! And that was with an amazing surgeon (Coselli)!

Back on topic: My 991.1 4S was Rhodium and I swear it had iridescent undertones in some light/at the right angle when washed (flashes of blue/pink). Really great color.

16L?? jesus that's a bit much. i do liver transplants and on a clean case, we don't give a single unit of blood; and average around 4-6units per case.

but yes, back to topic: GT silver is best silver

Seriously. And first responders too. I owe an enormous debt to the amazing folks who scraped me up off the road twice, and the docs who made me (semi) normal again. Takes a special person to help other people like that.

Small world!! I was Coselli's (super)fellow for a year and offered a job as an attending with him at THI (before instead returning to Canada). It was an incredible experience! I was there 2006-07. Did we overlap? I was wondering about the BCM in your name. BTW did you meet kyrocks?

And, to clarify, hamster, we scavenge and give back almost all of it.

and now back to regular RL programming... (sorry)

Nephrologist here so you and I may know allot more about blood oxygenation and its role in acid-base etc however we cannot lose sight of the fact the skin is highly dependent on blood supply and thus oxygenation.

I'm not in a medical profession. Have no special relation or interest with blood or other bodily fluids. But I absolutely love this anology with blood and colors. It's these little cool surprising things that makes rennlist stand out from other forums.

So what does all this say about people who do blue car colors?

I also deal with blood on a daily basis, and do not want to be reminded of it when I see my car.

Have GT silver on order and was thinking about changing it to carmine red. Now with this whole blood comparison, I think I will stick with the GT silver, lol. May be just a little extra red on the wheels is all that is needed.

Seen GBM in person both indoors and outdoors. Although it has lots of hues under different lighting conditions, this color looks a lot darker than gbm. Are we sure this is gbm?

GT silver with black wheels and red pinstripes looks great. A more understated version of colored wheels. I like it!
