Street, track, pretty much anywhere.

I was discussing that last night with a friend. It does kindof scream "LOOK AT ME COPPER!" Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Any tax benefit to "RD Reid Motorsport"? New company? Racing team? Write offs?
Genuinely curious if there's any angle for this... maybe wrong thread to ask. Just ignore or DM if appropriate.

Well, you've probably read this thread:

https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...-gt-style.html

I've reviewed the Florida Statutes and there is no ambiguity, any film over the headlights that changes their color is forbidden. I mostly drive it during the day, but I don't want to get hassled unnecessarily so we shall see.

The lights are covered in clear headlight protection film, UV coating be damned.

No one can tell you what to do, it's all about personal comfort level.. but the yellow film is so cheap and so easy to remove, if you get stopped you can literally peel it off in fromt of officer. Some rules are just rarely enforced.. how many "illegal" exhaust or mods does the whole gearhead community drive around with?.. it boggles the mind.. most cops don't bother. If it means anything to you, I've been without front plate and with yellow lights on my fun cars for years.. and as strict as Sam francisco is, I've not yet had an issue. Now... I forget to turn the wheel towards the curb and BAM.. that's a big fine :-)

Great project either way, hope it continues to give you happiness

Nice job. Particularly like how the grey stripe flows through the fender vents.

Yep.. $270 minimum, sometimes multiple tickets at once.. for example;
-wheel wrong way
-handbrake not on (have to go fight that when they can't see the handbrake for example)
-rear wheel more than X inches from the curb.

When I first moved to SF I had one day with $700+ in tickets all at once on windshield .. had no idea. It's nuts.. anyway, sorry for off topic

But of course! We'll be there in the corral Friday and Saturday.
