Has seller bought other high volume cars such as Panamera or Cayenne at sticker to pad deal? Unless the dealer just threw him the biggest bone ever there has to be more to this story.

^ Afaik, no side deal was involved. I know that Lodi is a long time Hennessy customer, as are Sean, myself and others. From the RS transactions that have been done (many to fellow Smokies), and those that I'm aware of, Hennessy by way of John D and now Abraham, have been straight MSRP dealers.

I will add that their support of Smokies has been emphatic and with no strings attached.

This is a case of a dealer being able to see the forest through the trees. There was no side deal involved. I've spent quite a bit of time with the GM of Hennessy. He gets it and focuses on developing long term relationships.

I've bought 4 991's and a Macan from them since 2014. All of them, including a very rare PTS 991 GT3 have been straightforward deals with no BS.

Now that's the way it's done. Props to Hennessy.

I can confirm, no side deals! Just a case of a dealer doing good business. Besides, I think they got tired of me lurking around the showroom groveling for an RS.

I just love this story. It restores my faith in humanity just a little.

Really thankful for Hennessy's support of the Smokies events and for selling you local guys GT cars.

I would love to buy from them but if you are not local their response regarding GT cars is forget it which is too bad but that is life. Have a local dealer which sells to me at MSRP they are just not big enough to get RS type cars. Guess that's what I get for living at the North Pole. LOL

See you guys in April.
