Post Your Favorite Colors!

Russ: And if you could check another thing
for us - the color is 'Slate Grey Metallic',
correct? 'Slate Grey Metallic' was a 'Special
Color' option on the .1 997. Interestingly,
'Slate Grey Metallic' was rejected as a PTS
color for the 991...and it is to this day!

And from my recollection, that 997 cabriolet
in your photo looks more like a .1 997 than
a .2. In any case, the combination is stunning!
'Natural Brown' was/is one of my favorite interiors
ever in a Porsche.

It is slate grey metallic and was an extra cost option color. The car is a 2007 delivered May 2008 so it is a 997.1.
Really sorry to hear the color not available as a PTS. My dream was to do the new 991.2 GT3 in the same color combo.

1. gts red (hard to tell what it really looks like but this RS is the most beautiful I've ever seen, if it's like the 918 then slightly less so but still gorgeous.
2. Signal yellow: looks good with red calipers, (not with yellow) and black Porsche script along sides
3. Mexico blue
4. Jet black: takes on a dark blue tint in strong sunlight
