Same problem on GT3 and my new RS. With car on, unscrew the oil circle under rear bonnet. Error will likely go away as sensor resets.

Yes but what a liability. Hard to open a the oil cap while driving. Im beginning to wonder if engines blowing up are related to faulty oil readings...

Mine did i too. Dealer adjusted the oil level and reset the sensor (somehow) and has not happened since.

Goes away after a couple of hard runs. Open close deck lid.

Why would you open the oil cap? There is no sensor. Pop the rear bonnet and that's it.

I was just getting ready to do my first run at the drags. I am 2nd up when the oil overfill warning comes on. I was like WTF? It is not like I could get out of line at that point. It was annoying, and had me wondering "if this engine blows right now, will my warranty claim be denied?"

I ran it anyway.

They need to fix this!
